Denny’s Announces Hobbit Menu

I am sitting at a special sneak peek event for media and fansite operators being put on by Dennyss Restaurants. If you are planning to see “The Hobbit” this December, Denny’s is hoping you’ll stop by one of their restaurants before and/or after the film to munch down on the new Shire Sausage Skillet, Hobbit Hole Breakfast, or Dwarves’ Turkey & Dressing Dinner. That last item might be suitable for Thanksgiving. You can read The Hobbit to your kids and celebrate the blessings that Durin’s Folk reaped from recruiting a lowly Hobbit burglar to help them on their quest.

Personally, I can’t wait to try the Ring Burger.

So that was the first hint we had of what we were to be shown as we arrived at Denny’s corporate headquarters. To be honest, I’m not the best of live bloggers so I’ll just make some notes and follow up with a fuller article later.
