FilmGuy packs the forum with John Carter videos

While we have been neglecting our main blog lately the forums have been pretty active thanks to new members FilmGuy and Bookbug, as well as our regular posters.

FilmGuy has been hard at work doing research on Disney’s upcoming movie “John Carter” of Mars, which SF-Fandom founder Michael Martinez has been criticizing for failing to promote the $200 million movie well enough in advance to help build up audience anticipation. It remains to be seen whether the Disney marketing machine is doing too little too late to save what looks to be a promising franchise.
