Trailers for two new Kevin Sorbo movies

American World Pictures appears to be a low-budget production/distribution company that serves direct-to-DvD and specialty cinema markets. I honestly don’t know much about them but SF-Fandom forum member Mara started a thread in the Kevin Sorbo forum because TrekWeb reviewed these two movies.

The nutshell version of the reviewer’s opinion is that the first movie is probably better than the second. The first movie is called “Paradox” and Kevin plays a detective in an alternate reality where magic is the basis of technology. He has to solve a murder that is committed with the use of science-based technology. Science is the basis of technology in our reality, of course.

You can read American World Pictures’ blurb about Kevin Sorbo’s “Paradox” here. Where can you see it? I dunno. Maybe there is a DvD store near you that can get it. Maybe there is a little art film theater that carries it (or soon will). Beats me.

Here is the trailer for “Flesh Wounds”. Kevin leads a special ops team on a highly secret mission where they discover that all is not what it seems. Turns out, instead of fighting terrorists they are facing off with a pscho super-warrior developed by the DoD.
