My review of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 1

I posted a review of the movie in our Harry Potter forum. I loved it. This is not an action movie — most of the action in the story comes later. This first part is really all about setup, as I think most people expected.

The kids have really matured as actors and it seems like they put their hearts into giving the final film a flourishing touch. I’m planning to see the movie again.

BTW — I do not want to watch this movie in 3-D and I am very glad they did not delay its release so they could knock out a 3-D version. The technology is just not there yet. As long as we have to wear those goofy glasses to watch 3-D films, I think I’ll pass on any more 3-D experiences. “Avatar” was cool but not cool enough to entice me into becoming a 3-D film geek.

So drop by and join our discussion of “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 1” either here or in the forum. We’d love to hear what you think of the movie.
