Legend of the Seeker fans can now vote for Favorite SciFi Fantasy Show

The campaign to raise visibility for Legend of the Seeker continues apace. It seems that our efforts to persuade the People’s Choice Awards to include a new category for the show more-or-less worked. According to Laura (sot_fan), the lady genius behind the Save Our Seeker Website, The People’s Choice Awards has added “Favorite Sci-Fi/Fantasy Show” as a category where fans can nominate/vote for Legend of the Seeker.

Here is an excerpt from Laura’s blog post explaining what we all need to do next:

lease take a few minutes to vote for “Legend of the Seeker” at the People’s Choice Awards. Getting “Legend of the Seeker” even nominated in this second round would give our show so much visibility, and potentially huge publicity.

The easiest way to vote is as a “guest” (note: you can vote multiple times *wink-wink*).

There are many categories you can vote for your favorite movie, actors, etc., so if you have the patience, go for it. If you only want to focus on “Legend of the Seeker,” scroll all the way down to “Favorite Sci-Fi/Fantasy Show” in the TV column and then click on “Other,” then type “Legend of the Seeker.”

“Legend of the Seeker” can also fit in the “Favorite TV Obsession” and “Favorite TV Guilty Pleasure,” but Sci-Fi/Fantasy is typically less crowded than other categories, and ALL we have to do is nail one category. No need to boil the ocean so to speak.

And in other Seeker news, MaryD has a report from Germany’s RingCon that Bruce Spence and Craig Parker say Legend of the Seeker is not dead yet. So no matter how frustrating it may seem so far, all the hard work from fans around the world is proving itself effective. Reviving a cancelled show takes time but it CAN be done because it HAS been done.

We can still Save The Seeker. Keep fighting!
