Guillermo del Toro to speak at Experience Music Project in Seattle

Seattle’s Experience Music Project Science Fiction Museum in Seattle will be hosting an evening with Guillermo del Toro next week, September 30, according to their Website.

del Toro is promoting his latest book, The Fall: Book Two of the Strain Trilogy, but naturally people will be interested in his film work (“Hellboy”, “Hellboy II”, and “Pan’s Labyrinth” being his three best-known movies).

Among his upcoming projects, “At The Mountains of Madness”, based on H.P. Lovecraft’s classic story, is one that is a major blip on my radar screen.

I don’t know if I’ll be able to make it. September 30 is a Thursday, which is Fringe night — but this is such short notice for me. I’ll have to think about this.
